Quality Control Analyst  Contract Position

 Usborne and Hibbert (U&H) Mutual Fire Insurance Company is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to fill a one (1) year temporary full-time contract for the position of Quality Control Analyst. This position is a member of the Underwriting team, reporting to the Director of Underwriting & Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Review business and system requirements to execute test plans and data validation protocols
• Perform end-to-end testing on the policy module in the new P&C system.
• Validate and document that migrated data is accurate, complete, and consistent with legacy data
• Log, track and prioritize system defects
• Collaborate with others to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Re-test and validate resolution of defects in a timely manner
• Maintain audit-ready quality control documentation to support internal reviews and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Post secondary education in Business, Insurance, Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience considered an asset
• Familiarity with mutual insurance operations
• Experience in system conversion, data migration, or new systems implementation is an asset
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient data entry and computer skills
• Strong customer service skills
